Sip & Shoot was created for the kind of women who want more than just a few photos together. It’s about getting dressed up, slowing down for a minute, and actually enjoying an experience together. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, a bachelorette weekend, a reunion, or honestly just wanting an excuse to have a really fun day with your favorite people, it’s designed to feel special from beginning to end.
Recently, we hosted a group that included the mothers of two grooms along with their brides, and the entire day felt like one big celebration. Before we even picked up the camera, everyone settled in with a gorgeous charcuterie spread and bubbly while hair and makeup got underway. There was music playing, people laughing, stories being told, champagne being refilled. It felt less like a “photo shoot” and more like the start of a girls’ weekend.
We also had a live engraver in the studio creating custom champagne glasses for everyone to take home, which ended up being such a fun touch. Little details like that are what make these events feel different.

Once everyone was camera-ready, we moved into the shoot itself, working through four completely different looks throughout the day. Some felt elevated and editorial, some were playful and relaxed, and every group naturally makes the experience their own. That’s honestly one of my favorite parts. No two Sip & Shoots ever feel the same because the energy of the women in the room completely shapes it.
And this group brought the energy.
The confidence, the hype from the sidelines, the inside jokes, the dramatic posing attempts that somehow turned into incredible photos anyway. Everyone leaned into it, and somewhere between outfit changes and champagne refills, the nerves disappeared completely.
The final images were stunning, but the experience itself was really the heart of it all. The photos become proof of a moment in time. A friendship. A season of life. A celebration worth remembering.
At the end of the experience, each woman left with more than digital images on a phone. They received a beautifully designed magazine featuring their photos and the story of the day, something tangible they can actually hold onto years from now.
Because the best part of experiences like this isn’t just how you looked. It’s remembering how it felt to be there together.
